London Fashion Week opened this season with a bang as H&M made its highly anticipated return to the runway, showcasing its Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. Held at 180 The Strand, the event blurred the lines between fashion, music, and media, creating an immersive experience that felt more like a cultural moment than a traditional show.

Seventy models brought the vision to life, with a mix of iconic names - Alex Consani, Paloma Elsesser, Romeo Beckham, Lila Moss, and Amelia Gray Hamlin - alongside fresh faces who carried the energy of London’s fashion-forward spirit. The show, titled H&M180: The London Issue, transformed the venue’s courtyard with giant screens, bold visuals, and a carefully curated soundscape.

Creativity and Self-Expression at the Core

“H&M’s A/W 25 collections are some of our strongest ever, they are a tribute to self-expression and personal style,” said Ann-Sofia Johansson, H&M’s Head Designer & Creative Advisor. “We were thrilled to light up London with a celebration of creativity in all its forms.”

With 700 seats filled, the front row was just as dazzling as the runway. Stars like Central Cee, Emily Ratajkowski, and Gabbriette turned heads while watching the show unfold.

Three Acts - Three Stories

The evening opened with the H&M Studio line. Model Jacqui Hooper led the way in a sharp tailored look, setting the tone for a bold start. Another highlight came from Amelia Gray Hamlin, the American model and daughter of actress Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, who has become one of fashion’s most in-demand names with appearances for Balenciaga, Versace, and Miu Miu. At H&M, she stunned in a shearling jacket and thigh-high boots—an outfit that perfectly captured the collection’s chic, confident mood.

“I love being with my H&M daily, and to be in London, a city with such character and street style, it felt perfect for this collection,” Gray shared.

The second act shifted gears, drawing inspiration from Britpop and ’90s culture. Singer Lola Young surprised the audience with her runway debut, embodying the spirit of the era in a leather jacket, pleated skirt, and boots.

Finally, the third act turned the spotlight toward sleek urban eveningwear. Streamer Marion Lundgren Garcia made waves by leaving his front row seat to join the runway, showcasing the menswear Atelier line. Lola Young closed the night with a live performance of her hits “Messy” and “d£aler,” styled in a sharp grey blazer and mini skirt from the collection.

“London is my home, the city where I found my voice,” said Young after her performance. “So it was very special to be performing here for H&M at an event that was all about style and self-expression.”

With its mix of fashion, music, and digital innovation, H&M’s return proved that the brand isn’t just keeping up with the conversation - it’s shaping it. The Autumn/Winter 2025 collection cemented the retailer’s place at the center of cultural and creative dialogue, reminding us why London remains one of the most exciting fashion capitals in the world.
