GIGI HADID REDEFINES ELEGANT PORTRAITURE IN MIU MIU’S LATEST CAMPAIGN

Miu Miu has chosen supermodel Gigi Hadid as the face of its Spring/Summer 2025 leather goods campaign, marking her fourth collaboration with the brand and reaffirming her as the ultimate Miu Miu woman. Unlike previous campaigns inspired by specific artworks, this season focuses on the feeling that art evokes, blending beauty and fashion into a timeless visual story.

The campaign features “poised portraits” that highlight the brand’s iconic matelassé and the women who embody its spirit. Drawing inspiration from 20th-century portraiture that immortalized high society, the images were captured by Steven Miesel and digitally “painted” by hand to mimic brushstrokes. Soft pastel backgrounds and oil painting-style effects create a dreamy atmosphere, seamlessly merging fine art and fashion.
At the center of the campaign are the Wander and Arcadie handbags. Traditionally crafted in leather, they are presented this season in suede, offering a velvety texture that feels both tactile and luxurious. These bags transform from everyday accessories into works of art, perfectly complementing the museum-quality portraits of Hadid. Each of the five images tells a story of subtlety, strength, and refinement—qualities that define the Miu Miu woman.

Styling by Lotta Volkova completes the aesthetic with sharp-collared shirts, sleek monochromatic skirts, and handbags in shades like Cocoa Brown, Whiskey, and Fuchsia. The combination is eclectic yet effortlessly elegant, staying true to Miu Miu’s signature identity.
