At Paris Fashion Week, we had the pleasure of discovering Marco Rambaldi’s latest collection, Gioia Radicale, a celebration of radical joy, rebellion, and tenderness. The SS26 collection feels like a dialogue between memory and modernity, turning nostalgia into a language of resistance and beauty.
Radical joy, as Rambaldi describes it, is a yearning for life, an anthem to the old, the imperfect, and the deeply human. It draws inspiration from the curtains of a country house, the grandmother’s tablecloth, and the emotional legacies of the past that become a compass for the present.

Crochet takes center stage this season: doilies are reborn as structured bridal gowns, and naturally dyed pink tops shimmer with Swarovski crystals. Old tablecloths are transformed into artisanal shirts layered with tulle, creating transparency and texture. The coordinated set, cardigan, tank top, skirt, dress is reimagined in crochet using reclaimed yarns or in solid-colored knits with punch holes, openwork, and delicate floral trims.
Layering defines the silhouettes: trousers, miniskirts, and longuettes merge as if three garments became one. Lingerie-inspired pieces appear unexpectedly, men’s boxers turned into culottes, ribbed tanks intertwined with soft new tops. Through the Out of the Closet concept, archival garments are reworked into new designs, reminding us that reuse is not a trend but a principle. Even bridal gowns are reinterpreted: white becomes playful, transforming into cocktail dresses accented with crochet.

Thanks to Lineapelle’s support, leather takes on new life, soft and sensual in cabans, Lazy trousers, and crocheted tops, as well as the new Femminella Bag, which pairs leather with vintage doilies. Prints and fabrics are reimagined: floral motifs and ’50s stripes are re-coded, doilies become digital patterns, printed tulle explores transparency, fluid satin shapes ethereal shirts, and cotton drill builds shorts with pockets that peek through.
Suspended between sweetness and struggle, fragility and strength, Gioia Radicale captures a distinctly feminine dualism a reflection of today’s world. Each piece bears traces of the past yet shines with a lighthearted freedom, reminding us that fashion, at its core, is an act of joyful rebellion.
